45mm Soft Close Drawer Slide
The 4512 is a 45mm wide soft close drawer slide with a hydraulic damper built into the outer member. When you push a drawer in, the damper takes over for the last stretch and pulls it shut quietly — no slamming, no bouncing back open. It is a full extension three-fold design, so the drawer box slides all the way out and you can reach the back without removing anything.
This side mount model fits most standard cabinet openings and takes 1/2 inch of clearance on each side. Installers use it in kitchen cabinets, bedroom wardrobes, bathroom vanities, office furniture and TV consoles — basically any self closing drawer slide application. Lengths run from 10 inch to 24 inch and each pair carries up to 25 kg.\nThe runners ride on steel ball bearings, so the opening action stays light and even after years of daily use. Zinc plated cold rolled steel resists rust in humid kitchens and bathrooms. If you are furnishing a whole kitchen or a full set of cabinets, mixing lengths from the same 45mm series keeps the closing feel consistent on every drawer.
Material and Spring Options
All three members are stamped from cold rolled steel — 1.0mm, 1.0mm and 1.2mm — and the thicker outer profile is what carries the load at full extension. Zinc plating goes on after stamping, so the edges, holes and ball raceways are covered, not just the flat faces.
The damper inside comes in single spring or double spring. Double spring gives a firmer final pull, which suits drawers wider than about 500mm or ones that carry heavy loads; single spring closes more gently and suits shallow drawers. The damper is a sealed hydraulic unit, so there is nothing to adjust or refill once it is installed.
Installation Guide
Start by measuring the outside depth of your closed drawer box and pick a slide of the same length or up to 1 inch shorter — a slide longer than the box will stop the drawer front from sitting flush. Leave 1/2 inch (about 12.5mm) of clear space on each side of the opening, because that is what the two slide members take up. Then separate the members: hold the inner member down and pull it forward until it releases.
Screw the inner member to each side wall of the drawer box, keeping both at exactly the same height. Next, fix the outer member to the inside face of the cabinet side panel and check it is level front to back. Push the drawer in until the members click together, then run it open and closed a few times so the damper sets its closing speed. A screwdriver is all you need; no jigs or special tools.
Factory Strength
We stamp, plate, assemble and pack these slides in our own plant, so wall thickness stays at the specified 1.0 x 1.0 x 1.2mm across every batch — that consistency is what keeps the 25kg rating honest. Slides from each production run go through repeated open-close cycle testing on our rigs before they are packed. If a batch misses spec, it does not leave the floor.
Single spring and double spring versions run on the same line, so you can order both in one order without chasing two suppliers. OEM work is routine for us: your logo on the blister card, custom labels, or a damper strength tuned to your drawer range. The standard MOQ is 5,000 pairs, and most cabinet and furniture brands start there before scaling up.
Trade Shows We Attend
If you prefer to check hardware in person before ordering, our sales team exhibits at the major furniture hardware shows each year. You will find us at the Canton Fair in Guangzhou every April and October, at Interzum in Cologne, and at the China International Hardware Show in Shanghai. For North American buyers we also visit IWF in Atlanta and KBIS to stay close to the cabinet market there.
Bring your drawer box measurements or a slide you currently use, and we can compare the 4512 side by side with it on the spot. A catalog photo never shows how a damper actually feels, so a show visit is the quickest way to judge the closing action. Ask our sales team for the current show schedule and we will let you know where to find us next.
